Back in college, I started designing websites for myself, friends, and classmates. Flash forward to today and I have over four years of experience under my belt and a new found appreciation for the power of technology. Just like the internet, my skills are always evolving, and my projects push boundaries with interactive, eye-catching, and accessible features.

I hold a BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota, which comes in handy when it comes to storytelling, communication, and introspection. I value a strong designer/client relationship and always prioritize getting to know you and your brand as we work together. Reach out to take the first step on your website journey!

FAQs

  • The question of the century. I have a few answers:

    1. Conquer the digital age. For live performers, we’re living through one of the toughest times for our industry yet: the digital age. Rather than working against it, let’s work with it! Creating and maintaining an online presence is the best way to reach audiences right now and build community!

    2. Easy access to your work. With a digital portfolio, all you have to do is share a link and poof! All your work, contact info, and bio are right there. Plus, you can show off your other skills, endeavors, and where to catch you next!

    3. Get to know YOU. Folks may be familiar with your art, but how familiar are they with YOU? A website is a fun opportunity to get to know the human behind the work.

  • Absolutely. Refurbishing theatre company sites has become a passion of mine. As an actor living in the Twin Cities, I am surrounded by countless local theaters who all have something important and unique to offer.

If you’re a theater (in the Twin Cities or elsewhere) whose website could use a little TLC, I’d love to collaborate with you to build a site that tells your story and captures the essence of your company. I am also available for ongoing site maintenance at an hourly rate.

Previous collaborations include Yellow Tree Theatre, Theatre Novi Most, and the University of Minnesota.

  • I strive to provide affordable web design, especially to fellow artists and the organizations that uplift us.

Once you fill out the inquiry form, I will reply with a pricing estimate. I typically create project estimates based off my hourly rate x total project hours.

If you have a budget for your project, please specify in your inquiry form!

  • Up to you. Check out my portfolio to see examples on both platforms. Be sure to check online for discounts!

  • I approach every process differently, but here’s what you can typically expect when we’re designing a site together (a redesign process will look similar):

    1. Getting started: You fill out an inquiry form, I reply with a pricing estimate, you approve it

    2. Initial meeting: We schedule a meeting (in person or on Zoom) to discuss goals, get to know each other, and create a timeline.

    3. Content sharing: I share a folder with you to share all your content with me

    4. First draft and edits: I share a first draft of the site with you, receive edits, and make changes/additions as needed

    5. Final touches: I add in SEO (search engine optimization), optimize the site for mobile, and test-run the site

    6. Domain and publishing: When the site is complete, we will meet again to publish the site and connect a domain. I’ll also give you a site tutorial.

After your site’s publish date, my inbox is open for basic maintenance and I charge at an hourly rate for more consistent/involved maintenance.
